Potions are vital for survival as well as recovering during fights in AION 2. While the basic items are really easy to purchase, there are various ways to build your supply and get more potent healing items. Be it quests and rewards or crafting via Alchemy, here’s how to get more potions ready for use.
Buy Potions From General Goods Merchants

One of the simplest methods to obtain basic healing supplies is through General Goods Merchants, shown with a coin bag sign on their name. They sell Life Potions which heal 1500 HP and another 5% of maximum HP in 10 seconds.
The HP recovery occurs every two seconds. Life Serums heal 1500 HP and another 5% of maximum HP instantly, but the price is four times more. Healing Potions work differently and remove one negative status from your character.
Get Potions From Quests and Rewards

You can also get a recovery item from the shops, merchant NPCs, quests, reward chests, Achievements, and Attendance.
Through Achievements, such as episode quests, you may access some stronger items, such as the Superior Life Serum; they recover 3,000 HP and 10% of the total HP instantly.
The Battle Pass may, however, include rewards for players such as Superior Life Potions. There are also rewards through its free version. Life Crystals are also given through regional quests and Attendance. The Daeva Pass Subscription also provides certain recovery items.
Collect Life Crystals
Life Crystals are effective due to their own cooling period apart from that of the regular potions. This allows them to be used independently of your normal potion cooldown. Sources identified also include achievements, attendance, quests, stores, Merchant NPCs, and reward chests among other sources.
Craft Potions With Alchemy
You can make potions through Crafting → Alchemy → Potions. The Life Serum requires one Fresh Area and one Glass Bottle. Glass Bottles can be bought at the Wind Breeze Merchant or from the Alchemy Merchant.
Alchemy can be used for upgrading potions to Superior Life Potions or Superior Life Serums. The upgrades require the respective potion and a Professional Glass Bottle. There are also combos that will let you craft multiple things at once through crafting.
Use the Consumables Quickslot
Make sure you place your frequently used potions in your Consumables Quickslot so you can use them easily in battles. You have the option to prepare your potions for Auto-Use by choosing the appropriate potions from the menu and then providing the trigger function.
The Auto-Use function is only compatible with the items that are placed in the Consumables Quickslot.
Keep Your Potion Supply Stocked
For regular healing, Life Potions are much cheaper compared to Life Serums that heal instantly. Life Crystals add another recovery method since they have their own cooldown period.
To enhance your supply, make sure to examine traders, missions, Achievements, prize chests, the Battle Pass, Attendance bonuses, and Potions often. You can also make use of the Quickslot and Auto-Use features, which will help you manage recovery items during battles.
