The Rising Flame Sanctum in Aniimo is filled with fiery obstacles, environmental puzzles, and valuable rewards. You’ll need to use cubes, flames, water, and floating platforms to navigate the sanctum and reach its heart. This guide covers the complete route through the Rising Flame Sanctum, including how to find both chests and restore the Vein.
Entering the Rising Flame Sanctum
You’ll need to start by going to the northeast of Beast Fang Ridge, at coordinates -1069, 1481. Once you’ve reached the marked location, you’ll find yourself in front of the Rising Flame Sanctum. Your objective is to go inside the sanctum and reach its heart to restore the Vein.
You’ll find a cube inside which you’ll need to place in front of the fire blocking you from going forward. Once the path is clear, move towards the Flameruff you’ll find in the center of the room. You can twine into Flameruff to complete the rest of the cave. Move forward from there and reach the huge gate where Flameruff’s attack will help you pass the gate.
Once you’re inside, you’ll find a gate in the front with two cubes on either side. Use fire on the cubes to destroy them and open the gate. Go right from there and you’ll find flames blocking your path again.
First, light up the box on the left to remove it from the button, which will release the gate holding the cube on your right. Then, turn back into your human form and pull out the cube to use it on the flames ahead.
Head up the stairs ahead after lighting all the vines on fire. Go right and down the flight of stairs to find a totem ahead. Light up the totem and continue going right. Pick up one of the blocks on the right and add it inside the gated container next to the main gate. Then light it up to unlock it.
In the next area, you’ll find a small water body in front of you as you go forward. Take left from there, and you’ll come across a small opening blocked with roots. Use flames to remove the roots and gain access to a new room where you’ll find a small born fire of sorts on the left.
Finding the First Chest
There, you’ll find another cube which you’ll need to place on a platform near the fire. This will help cross the mid section with the help of a floating platform. Once you’ve reached the other end, go right from there, and ascend the set of stairs to reach the first chest.
Opening the chest will reward you with 20× Glimmer, 15× Sparkling Crystal, 1× Explosive Gloves, and 20000× Credits.
Finding the Second Chest
From the first chest, go right, and take the stairs to reach the area with a small water body. Use the cube on the right and place it in the middle platform to open the locked gate and draw out all the water.
Jump down, turn around, and fix your aim at the cube you used earlier. Use Flameruff’s attack on the cube to destroy it and close the gates. This will also fill the area up with water, taking you up and towards a new area. Here, on the left, you’ll find the second chest.
Opening the second chest will reward you with 20× Glimmer, 15× Sparkling Crystal, 1× Avenging Gear, and 20000× Credits.
After that, go inside the room on the left which is the heart of the sanctum, and you’ll find an altar of sorts where you can restore the Vein by touching it.
