Storm Basin puts you under a strict six-turn deadline while enemies continue to pressure the area. Your objective is to free six Bespin civilians, so the key is to divide the work between the squad instead of having everyone fight together. Anakin Skywalker should deal with the main threats, while Luco Bronc and Tesh Hawks spend most of their turns reaching civilians. In this guide, we have covered everything you’ll need to know to rescue the Storm Basin Civilians efficiently.
Divide the Squad’s Responsibilities
The optimal way to use Anakin here is to keep the central area under control. Start with the Coil Brute near the burning scrap and use Ultimate Strike against it. You can also use Ultimate Lightsaber Throw against the elevated Coil BX Droid Sniper.
Once those threats are dealt with, Luco can make his way around the left while Hawks can take the opposite route. Remember not to attack unnecessarily with either of the rescuers because movement is more important than taking down enemies that Anakin can deal with.
Rescue the Civilians in This Order
The civilians can be contacted in the following sequence:
1. Luco: Head towards the left path towards the first civilian.
2. Hawks: Go down the right side of the area towards the second civilian.
3. Luco: Continue along his route for the third civilian.
4. Hawks: Use the lower path towards the fourth civilian.
5. Anakin: Ascend to the elevated platform and reach the fifth civilian.
6. Luco: Finish the final rescue at the marked platform on the right.
After each interaction, check that the civilian has been counted toward the objective.
Deal With Snipers Without Losing Time
The route taken by Hawks may allow opponents to keep her on sniper overwatch. Do not move her until you have checked the red lines that mark the threat zones. If the crossing cannot be avoided, make sure she can withstand the incoming shot.
After Hawks has rescued the fourth hostage, put her behind the large metal crate so snipers cannot hit her from the balconies.
While Anakin takes care of the more powerful opponents, the other two characters can simply finish their routes. If there are several BX Sniper Droids on the balcony, use the Ultimate Lightsaber Throw to dispose of them.
Keep the Clock Moving
In the course of the mission, reinforcements emerge including immediate threats from both factions involved. Prevent Luco and Hawks from deviating from the rescue route unless dealing with the enemy is required to keep the path open.
The same goes for Combat Gas III. Though Luco can use it to boost an ally, the priority should still be to focus on rescuing the next civilian.
The sixth turn marks the deadline by which the civilians need to be rescued, so make sure not to waste a rescuer’s turn on optional attacks.
Finish After 6/6
Wait until Luco meets the last civilian and wrap up the encounter by making sure six civilians have been saved by the end of the 6/6 turn. The squad must also survive so make sure to heal the injured as soon as they take damage from overwatch or reinforcements.
Once the civilians have been saved, move on to the remaining enemies of the Coil forces. Anakin must take care of the last enemies and deal with the last remaining Coil Brute to finish the encounter.
