In the Down in the Dumps quest, players must journey through a watery sewage tunnel and find three Key Cards needed to access the control room. In this article, we will discuss where the Blue, White, and Red Key Cards can be found and how to open the third and final gate so you can make your way back to the surface.
Down in the Dumps Quest Overview
In Genshin Impact Version 7.0, the third quest of the series which is named “Down in the Dumps.” The quest requires the execution of three operations that can be done by obtaining three different key cards that are Blue, White, and Red.
Down in the Dumps starts automatically after the completion of Transplanted From “Yesterday” to “Tomorrow”. While working through the sewers of the game you will have to navigate a few mechanisms and flooded rooms before reaching all three keys.
Blue Key Card Location
The sewer’s control room area has the Blue Key Card lying around. Once you interact with the Control Console next to the gate after reading the Sewer Entrance/Exit Guide, you should receive the Blue Key card.
Go ahead and use the Blue Key on the second Control Console and unlock the entrance. Take the key back afterward and use the partially closed gate to slide through the gap.
Now, carry on into the flooded section where you have to use the Blue Key to access the console. This will reduce the water level allowing you to take your key quickly to the lower console before the water level increases again. Doing this opens the room containing the White Key.
White Key Card Location
You can find the White Key Card in the room that was previously unlocked with the Blue Key puzzle.
Head into the room then pick up the White Key from the Control Console. You can pick up the Exquisite Chest in this room as well.
Use the Grappling Gun at the marked grapple point to smash through the wall and head back to the previous section of the arena. Take the White Key to the console located near the flooded area and insert it.
Now that you have the White Key, it can cause the water level of the sewer to drop further, which will help you reach the path with the last key hiding there.
Red Key Card Location
The location of the Red Key Card is in the sewer’s lower regions.
Keep moving towards the new opening until you reach the Leshy. The Eye of the Graeae will indicate the location of the key on an elevated platform. Use the blue sigil nearby to reach and pick up the Red Key Card.
After picking up the Red Key, a battle with the Leshy begins. You have to defeat the enemies to proceed along the path you’ve unlocked. You can also pick up the Precious Chest along the way.
Use All Three Keys
After obtaining the Red Key, return to the control room and retrieve the Blue and White Key Cards from their consoles. You should now have all three cards:

Take all three cards to the locked control room door and insert them into the control board. This opens the way forward.
Escape the Sewer
In the next section, the Rotary Mechanism lacks its control wheel. The Sewer Lift Control Wheel is located on the head of a Leshy confined inside a container.
Destroy the crate to free the Leshy and obtain the Control Wheel. Insert it into the Rotary Mechanism to open the elevator gate.
Before departing, acquire the Luxurious Chest, then climb into the elevator to get back to the surface level. Proceeding through the following route finishes Down in the Dumps and leads to the next quest named Back on One’s Feet.
