Thirsty Farmers Quest
Thirsty Farmers’ quest line starts in the New Camp from Lefty. It may be wise to increase the character’s level since Lefty can prove to be quite a strong opponent, especially at low levels. Otherwise, when you accept his request, you will have to deliver water to the farmers each day until you decide to put an end to this ordeal. When Lefty stops you, you’ll have two main options:
- “Sure. Happy to help.” – Agree to work for him and deliver water to the farmers. You can collect the water from Ulmar, who is nearby.
- “I’m not your errand boy.” – Refuse his orders and fight Lefty right away.
Also, be wary when deciding to attack him because if Lefty defeats you in battle, he will loot your inventory, taking some of your items, such as Ore Nuggets. In conclusion, it is always wise to make sure that you are fully prepared for any confrontation with him.
In case you choose to help the farmers, move towards the shacks around this area, and then approach Ulmar. Request water from him, and he will provide you with 10 bottles. Move towards the farmers and give each of them one bottle of water until your quest journal updates. After this task, go back to Lefty. He will ask you if you want to continue working for him.
This is not an option for avoiding the conflict because helping farmers would cause Lefty to provoke a fight. Another factor worth noting is that each time a player provides water for the farmer, a cutscene will play, which cannot be bypassed. Consequently, most players choose to attack the character right from the start rather than waste time helping other people and repeating the scene repeatedly.
In case the player decides to challenge Lefty, it should be noted that it is important to prepare adequately for this battle. In order to make the process easier, a player should equip better weapons, train for battles, and gain a few additional levels. Defeating the villain will help solve the quest, as Lefty will stop bothering the player about helping with work.
