Get Tincture of Queensfoil and the Ascendant Buff
To successfully complete the Treasure Hunt triumph you must open Ascendant Chests while using the Tincture of Queensfoil. To locate these Ascendant Chests, visit the Dreaming City and find Petra Venj before searching for the chests.
Every week Petra moves around The Strand, Divalian Mists, and Rheasilvia. Depending on where she is each week will determine the availability of the Ascendant Chests that can be accessed. In addition, if Petra is in Rheasilvia, the Strong Curse chests will also be available.
Make sure to purchase some Tinctures of Queensfoil before you leave Petra and then use one from your inventory so that you can obtain the Ascendant buff. The Ascendant buff will allow you to see otherwise hidden platforms that lead to the Ascendant Chests.
First Strong Curse Ascendant Chest Location
To get to the first Ascendant Chest, travel to the spawning location at the Divalian Mists, climb some rocks that are nearby to find a hidden path. Make sure you are careful when following this path because some of the platforms that are on it will not appear until you approach them. If you do not see the next platform, you might have to backtrack until you find the path leading around to your right before you turn left. Complete the jumping section and you will find the first Ascendant Chest.
Second and Third Strong Curse Ascendant Chest Locations
When you’ve gotten your first chest and your Tincture effect is still in effect, drop off the edge of the cliff and pull up your Sparrow and ride down the path to The Strand. After you’ve reached the top of the back of the misty mountain, go towards the right side of the tree and walk down to the hidden platforms that will lead you to the second Ascendant Chest.
After collecting the second treasure chest, follow the adjacent route on your left side until you arrive at your final treasure chest. Once you collect all three Strong Curse Ascendant Chests, you will complete the Treasure Hunt triumph.
