The Grow Bed is one of the most useful objects that you may have in Subnautica 2. The advantage of having this thing is that you will be able to cultivate plants and thus get some fresh and nutritious food as well as ingredients for creating some other necessary items. It will make life on the station more comfortable. In this guide, we will tell you where to find the Grow Bed fragments, how to unlock the blueprint, and how to use it to create your own underwater farm.

How to Get Growbed

Start by swimming from your Lifepod directly east. Swim east through many biomes until you reach the massive alien power plant biome. While swimming east, the environment will change, and you will start seeing large alien constructions appearing around you. One of the most noticeable landmarks will be the massive alien tower that rises from the environment. Additionally, there will be an even larger alien construction emitting light near the alien tower. Both landmarks indicate that you have reached the correct place.

As soon as you discover both alien structures, dive between them. Here, there is a little abandoned structure that you need to find. Both Grow Bed fragments will be found on top of this little structure.

The first Grow Bed will be placed on top of the structure’s roof. Get out of your vehicle and use your Scanner to get information about this fragment. The second Grow Bed will be nearby, still on top of the same structure. Use your Scanner once more to unlock the blueprint for this Grow Bed.

How to Use Growbed

Once unlocked, the Grow Bed will show up within your Habitat Builder under the Cultivation Structures category. After getting your own Grow Bed ready at your base, you will be able to get a constant stock of the important plants forever. In order to build a Grow Bed, you will need 2 pieces of Titanium. After building your own Grow Bed, you simply interact with it and add whatever plants/seeds that you’ve managed to collect so far. Over time, these plants will grow and can be harvested repeatedly.
