One of the puzzles that you are going to find once you have completed the Spire of Frost area in Crimson Desert is the Passage of Malice. Initially, the passage may seem difficult as it requires moving cubes, aligning lasers, and placing objects in the correct positions for the pathway to unlock. However, once you know the right sequence, the entire process becomes easier.
Passage of Malice Abyss Puzzle in Crimson Desert
Once you have completed the Spire of Frost quest, you will have to make your way to the Passage of Malice puzzle chamber via the Abyss portal. Once inside, you will have to use your light power on the mechanism at the other end of the room to activate it.
Passage of Malice Abyss Puzzle Solution
After being lowered, start by interacting with the cube controls on the left side. Rotate the cubes around until the line paths join and become straight. Do the same for the cubes on the other side and move to the upper platform.
From here, take hold of the moving node on one side and insert it into the third position of the central area. Move to the other side and place the other moving node into the exact third position, too. After inserting the nodes into the positions, turn back to the cube controls.
Rotate the cubes to make sure that the laser line paths intersect directly with the yellow bulbs on each side. As soon as the two bulbs are activated, the locked door ahead opens up. Open the door and proceed further into the new room.
In the next area, pick up the blue piece of energy and place it into its correct position. Use the Force Palm ability to insert the piece. Afterwards, strike the centre mechanism with Force Palm to activate it. The Passage of Malice puzzle is solved now. A teleporter will appear, so use it to go upward and collect the artefact waiting outside.
