Schedule 1’s Christmas update adds Shrooms, a new product line that’s easy to scale once you understand the setup. Although the process looks daunting at first, it actually moves along very methodically. Below is a clean, no-nonsense breakdown of everything you need to grow and automate Mushrooms efficiently.
Stuff You’ll Need to Grow Shrooms
You will need to order equipment and consumables from three companies before you begin.

(Important tip: When ordering from Fungal Phil, always order an equal quantity of Grain Bags, Spore Syringes, and Mushroom Substrate. One of each is used per grow cycle.)
If you don’t have a lot of money, focus on:
- Mushroom Spawn Station
- Mushroom Box
You can reuse old trimmers and then later on add the AC unit and spray bottle.
Setting up the Mushroom Grow Area
Having the Mushroom Spawn Station and Mushroom Box close together speeds up the process and automates things more easily later. Make sure the AC unit is nearby and set to cooling; shrooms are sensitive to temperature.
How to Grow Mushrooms Step by Step
Engage with Mushroom Spawn Station and enter:
- 1 Grain Bag
- 1 Spore Syringe
Remove the syringe cap, inject it into the Grain Bag through the black square, and tip the syringe using A and D while pushing the plunger. The resulting matter is called Shroom Spawn.
Preparation of the Mushroom Box
Add Mushroom Substrate to the Mushroom Box. This is like adding soil.
Put the Shroom Spawn in the box and break it up into 16 pieces. This is then scattered under the substrate.
Watering the Mushrooms
The Spray Bottle will be filled with water from a tap, and the Mushroom Box will be sprayed.
Every complete spray will promote growth by 56%, therefore:
- 2 full sprays = mature Mushrooms
- This is why watering cans aren’t very effective. They deliver too much water.
Mushroom Manufacturing by Automation
To completely automate Shroom production:
- Employ Botanists
- Assign them to the Mushroom Spawn Station and Mushroom Beds.
They will then spawn, plant, and water the crops on their own without your intervention once the assignment is made
Fungal Phil Stash
To pay off your debt at Fungal Phil:
- Reach the south of Oscar’s Warehouse
- Search the Sewers
- You’ll find a Stash
Deposit the cash there, and your debt will be paid off automatically. You can also use the stash to store your extra money.
