The Magnetic Accelerator is an epic-tier refined material in ARC Raiders, utilized to craft potent weapons such as the Tempest, Equalizer, and Hullcracker. You will also need three of them for Phase 4 of the Expedition Project, making it one of the most valuable resources in the game.
Here is how to find Magnetic Accelerators, the best spots to farm them, and how to craft them if RNG isn’t on your side.
Where to Find Magnetic Accelerators in ARC Raiders
Magnetic Accelerators are a rare drop from breachable crates and containers found in high-tier zones. While they technically can appear anywhere within Exodus, some areas have, by far, better drop rates than others.
Best Farming Spot: Marano Station (Buried City)
Your best chance to consistently farm Magnetic Accelerators is at Marano Station in the Buried City.
Once you reach the train platform, find a room nearby that you can breach. Inside, find:
- 2x Breachable crates
- 2x Raider containers
This small area has an excellent drop rate for epic-tier materials: Magnetic Accelerators, Exodus Modules, and Complex Gun Parts.
(Tip: Be prepared for a lot of resistance here. Marano Station is close to an exfil point, so other Raiders usually pass through it. Go with good gear and breach fast; be on your guard for ambushes.)
Alternate Farming Spot: Rocket Assembly – Spaceport
Another place to farm is the Rocket Assembly Building at the Spaceport. This used to be one of the best farming places during the early patches of ARC Raiders. However, in recent updates, epic loot rates in red lockers have been reduced.
Still, if you’re rotating through the multiple zones, it’s worth checking the Rocket Assembly — especially on loot respawns.
Guaranteed Drop: Celeste’s Journals Quest
If RNG doesn’t want to cooperate, finish the quest of Celeste’s Journals. You’ll get:
- Magnetic Accelerator x1
- Heavy Gun Parts x3
- Exodus Modules x1
This is a surefire way to obtain at least one Magnetic Accelerator without grinding.
How to Make Magnetic Accelerators
If you’re short on luck or patience, you can craft Magnetic Accelerators using the Refiner at your Workshop.
Crafting Recipe:
- 2x Advanced Mechanical Components
- 2x ARC Motion Core
After refinement, the item will show in your inventory as an epic-tier component, ready to use in high-end weapon crafting.
