After the molten chaos of the Foundry, players make their way to the frozen landscape of Canada in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. This level starts with bigger terrain and more complex goals, one being the “Nosegrind Around the Horn” goal.
This challenge is harder than it appears, requiring accuracy and poise along a long, curved rope grind. Here’s how to complete it.
Where to Find the Horn?

Start from the starting position in Canada, turn left and skate towards the small snow hut on the edge of the cliff. Use the kicker ramp in front of it to jump onto the roof of the hut. Ollie from the roof onto the wooden platform that extends along the cliff face. This platform leads you directly towards the grind path you need.
On the opposite side of the wooden platform, you’ll see a rope-like railing curving out in a large arc across the snowy void. That’s “the horn,” and that’s where you’ll grind for your Nosegrind objective.
How to Do the Nosegrind?

To complete the objective, you’ll need to jump onto the horn and Nosegrind from start to finish without falling or bailing.
When you’re coming up to the horn:
- Ollie off the edge of the wooden platform.
- Press Up + Grind (that’s ⬆️ + Triangle on PlayStation or ⬆️ + Y on Xbox/PC) in the air to initiate the Nosegrind.
- Balance throughout the grind as it curves around the cliffside.
You must land smoothly into the Nosegrind and maintain your concentration throughout the route. Falling off or switching into a different grind will reset the attempt.
What’s Next After the Grind?

When you’ve finally pulled off the Nosegrind around the horn, the challenge will be done. Don’t go away yet, however—this upper platform connects to other level-critical goals in the level:
- Bury the Bully is accessible from the same route.
- You’re close to the Secret Tape as well, which is along the cliffs onward.
- Canada is a level that benefits from exploration, and this area serves as a hub for several high-level Pro Goals.
The “Nosegrind Around the Horn” challenge is one of the more technical goals in the Canada stage of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, testing your control and timing. By reaching the horn via the hut and wooden platform, executing a clean Nosegrind, and maintaining balance across the curve, you’ll add another Pro Goal to your list—and open up new paths for even greater rewards.
