How To Play Haunted Mansion
The Haunted Mansion event might feel a bit confusing at first, but it starts as soon as your team is complete. Make sure to check in frequently to see what your seven teammates are working on. Your main objective is to collaborate with your team over the weekend to repair Mr. Monopoly’s mansion by playing a card game with the tokens you have collected.
- Each area in the Haunted Mansion has a goal for your team to complete. Finish each room, earn rewards, and move on to the next room to make as much progress as possible before the event ends at 12PM EST on December 17.
- Goals in each room require teamwork, with different tasks assigned to each member, dividing the cleaning and repairs.
- The repair tasks are done through a simple card game, similar to Blackjack.
- To start, click on the game board, and you will see your teammates working on different repair tasks in the room. You have to fill the progress bar at the top of the screen by interacting with each repairable object.
How to build your team in Monopoly GO
The Haunted Mansion adventure in Monopoly Go began on December 12 at 12 PM EST. Players have 24 hours to assemble a team of eight, including themselves.
- Team Formation:
- You can invite friends or accept random players suggested by the game.
- Once teammates join, they can also invite others until all slots are filled.
- Aim to team up with active players to share the workload over the weekend.
- Leaving a Team:
- You can leave a team if you’re unhappy with it, but only before the event officially starts.
- Once the team is full and the event begins, you’re locked into that team for the entire event.
- Collecting Tokens: Before tackling tasks in the Haunted Mansion, you’ll need to gather tokens from other in-game events:
- Daily Leaderboard Tournaments: Compete against 99 players to earn points by landing on Railroad tiles. Earn tokens through milestone rewards and prizes for top performers.
- Center Banner Events: Participate in special events with changing objectives. Milestone rewards include free Haunted Mansion tokens.
- In-Game Store Bonuses: Claim bonuses every 8 hours to receive cash, dice rolls, and free tokens during the event.
- Daily Quick Win Goals: Complete daily tasks to earn extra tokens alongside regular rewards.
- Starting the Event: Once you’ve collected tokens and assembled your team, click the center of your Monopoly Go game board to start the Haunted Mansion adventure.
