In Black Ops 6, the “Direct Hit Kills” challenge is a great way to improve your launcher skills and unlock special rewards. To complete it, you’ll need to land a direct hit with either the CIGMA 2B or HE-1 launcher, taking out enemies with precise shots. While it might seem tricky at first, there are a few strategies and map choices that can make it easier. Whether you’re aiming for a direct hit in tight spaces or open areas, knowing where to position yourself and when to fire will help you quickly rack up those 10 kills and unlock special camos as you work toward earning Mastery camos.
Get 10 Direct Hit Kills With Launchers
To complete the Direct Hit Kills challenge, equip either the CIGMA 2B or HE-1 launcher and score a direct hit on an enemy player in a multiplayer match. The projectile needs to hit the enemy directly, resulting in a kill. Currently, these are the only two launchers in the game, and completing the challenge unlocks Special camos for them, moving you closer to earning Mastery camos.
How To Get 10 Direct Hit Kills With Launchers
For getting Direct Hit Kills in Black Ops 6, try to stay as close to enemy players as possible. Smaller maps are ideal for these close-range encounters, so consider using the Face Off Moshpit playlist. It features the game’s smallest maps and has Scorestreaks automatically disabled, making it perfect for completing “Direct Hit” challenges. Equip your Assault Pack to get extra rockets for your launcher and equip three blue perks which will give you Recon, and will let you see your enemies through the walls.
Among the maps, Stakeout and Gala are ideal for getting Direct Hit Kills. On Stakeout, each team spawns near a balcony, which is a prime spot for lining up Direct Hit kills. Just equip a launcher as your secondary, aim in, and wait for enemies to appear in your crosshairs. On Gala, you’ll spawn either behind the stage or near the DJ booth, both of which overlook straight lanes on each side. Simply aim down from your spawn and fire when you spot an enemy.
Another effective strategy is to wait near an objective or a high-traffic lane. On Warhead, take cover behind the bus and aim at areas where enemies frequently spawn or push forward. By focusing on these hot spots, you’ll increase your chances of landing direct hits. Each kill may feel like a small win, but they add up quickly!
Head to Nuketown. Although it’s not as small as Stakeout, it’s compact enough to keep enemies close by. The kitchens, hallways, and corners are ideal spots for ambushes. Regardless of the map, your strategy remains the same: hold a position in a high-traffic area, wait for enemies, and aim where they’re likely to appear.
