⁠Where Winds Meet: Qinghe Meow Meow Puzzle Guide

Qinghe is full of delightful distractions, but few are quite so memorable as the Meow Meows. These stylish magical cats pop up all over the region with puzzles, races, and quirky challenges. Completing their tasks rewards you with treasure, Meow Meow currency, and eventually access to the Meow Meow Temple and its special shop.

There are a total of 31 Meow Meow quests in Qinghe, spanning from timed Wisp runs to logic puzzles, along with bamboo-cutting trials. This guide will walk you through each type of challenge and where to find them.

Will-O’-The-Wisp Collection Challenges

The biggest batch of Meow Meow quests involves chasing down glowing blue Wisps before the timer runs out. Most routes include light parkour, but they mainly test your speed and accuracy. You don’t need to manually pick anything up. Just run through each Wisp to collect it.

You will see more Wisps than you actually need, so don’t panic if you miss one. There are 14 Wisp runs in Qinghe:

All Puzzle Locations and Solutions

The puzzle-type Meow Meow quests don’t give you explicit instructions. You’ll just get an Investigate prompt, and by yourself must figure out what the cat wants.

There are 11 of them in Qinghe; many depend on skills that you should unlock beforehand.

18	Kilnfire Ridge	Use specific attacks on each statue, so they face the centre.	Requires Shadow Step from Talents
19	Sage’s Knoll	Use Meridian Touch on the cats	Unlock via Yan Qiren’s side quest
20	Twinbeast Ridge	Rotate statues to face the nearby tree	The answer is suggested by the standing stone
21	Twinbeast Ridge	Turn off the lit lamp and turn on the one in the back.	Check the Tasting Ledger
22	Witherwilds	Place mini statues in front of the big ones with lit fires.	Wind Sense helps locate the statues

Unstoppable Bamboocut Tasks

These trials work exactly like the Wisp runs, only instead of collecting spirits, you’re slicing bamboo as fast as possible before the timer hits zero. There are four Bamboocut tasks, and you can usually brute-force your way through the grove the fastest.

Don’t worry if you miss the mark; you can retry every Meow Meow quest any number of times.

Cat Chase Quests

These are the trickiest challenges in Qinghe. Some Meow Meows sprint away the moment you interact with them, starting a fast-paced chase. Run through the white circle to dash forward, then use your Lightness Skills to stay airborne and on their trail. Keep an eye on the paw-print indicator.
