Where to Locate Sorceress Sellen and Complete her Questline in Elden Ring
You will come across various NPCs in Elden Ring, and each has its unique quest that explores the lore of the Lands Between. Here we will see where to locate Sorceress Sellen in Elden Ring.
Sorceress Sellen is the NPC you should go to learn various sorceries in the game. The first time you will meet her here is at Waypoints Ruin Cellar, at the cliffs east of Agheel Lake. Before you can approach her cellar, you need to defeat the Mad Pumpkin Head boss. After that, you can meet her spectral form in the cellar, and she will ask you if you will accept her questline and be her apprentice. This will also open up her merchant store for you, where you can buy spells to learn. Upon giving her Royal Scrolls, you can unlock more sorceries and additional dialogs from her.

Your next quest would be to find Primeval Sorcerer Azur at Altus Plateau’s Mt. Gelmir. You can find Azur in Hermit Village, and you can get the Comet Azur sorcery from him. Go back to Sellen and she will send you off to find Master Lustat. You can find Lustat at Caelid’s Sellia Hideaway. He will be locked in an arcane ward in the second pit. He will hand over the Stars of Ruin sorcery. Go back to Sellen but you won’t unlock any additional dialogs for now. After defeating Starscourge Radahn at Redmane Castle, you can unlock additional dialogs. She will tell you that her physical body is at Witchbane Ruins and to come to find her. You can find Witchbane Ruins in Weeping Peninsula, south of the Fourth Church of Marika. You can find Witch-Hunter Jerren here, who you have met previously at the throne room of Redmane Castle.
To use Sellen’s Primal Glintstone, you need to travel to the ruins between Renna’s and Ranni’s Rise in the Three Sisters Area. There is an illusory floor that you can hit to get through. This is Preceptor Seluvis’s secret puppet laboratory. Find a Do Not Touch sign and break the second illusory wall. You can find Sellen’s body here to use the Glintstone on. She will now be ready to function as a normal NPC and will keep her shop open.
Now you will come to a crossroads where you will have to choose between Sellen and Jerren. You can find their summon signs side by side at Raya Lucaria Grand Library, but you can only side with one person. You will get this option after defeating Rennala the Full Moon Queen. Defeating either Sellen or Jerren will make them drop different items. If you choose to summon Sellen to defeat Jerren, you will receive the Eccentric Set, Glintstone Kris, Witch’s Glintstone Crown, and some new items in her store. If you visit Azur and Lustat where their bodies are, you will get Azur’s Glintstone Set and the Lusat’s Set. She will also turn into the Graven Ball of Mages.
If you have summoned Jerren to defeat Sellen, you will be rewarded with the Witch’s Glintstone Crown, Rune Arc, a Furlcalling Finger Remedy, and Sellen’s Bell Bearing. He will also hand over an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. If you kill him you can get his armor set. You will not receive anything from Azur and Lustat. You can find Jerren outside the library.
Whatever decision you have made, you will still be able to talk to Sellen in whichever form she is in to get items from her store.
