Genshin Impact: The Dune of Magma Dendroculus Guide
With all the quests in Genshin Impact, it might get confusing as to which one you should complete first. The new update has added plenty more quests too, and the game is only getting bigger. A new location always means that there are new Dendroculi to find. The area of the Desert in Sumeru has a lot of items that you can collect and one of them is the Dune of Magma Dendroculus. You will be able to find it in the large area if you know the exact location of it. If you want to know how to get it quickly, you’re in the right place.

Dendroculus are important in the game as they need to be offered to the Dendro Statue of the Seven. Each element has its own Statue and its own offerings. If you want to get the Dune of Magma Dendroculus, you will need to travel to the Sumeru Desert.
To begin this quest, you will need to enter the ruin of the Dune of Magma. There is a door here with pillars on either side, one of which is already activated. You will need to activate the other one. To do so, you will need to make your way right where you can see the door. There is a mechanism next to it that easily lets you unlock the door.
Once you are through the door, you will need to activate another mechanism and follow the floating orb which will lead you to your destination. This seems to be deeper and deeper into the ruins. The orb will eventually activate a platform and summon a wind current to go up.
There is another mechanism near the wind current spawn point, you will need to activate it and follow it until you’re stopped by a barrier. Return to your starting position in the ruins and you will see the barrier. Going near it will activate the second pillar, and you will finally be able to travel down the ruins.
Glide down when you see a large cavern on the ground, and you will find the Dune of Magma Dendroculus floating midway.
