In the “A Token of Gratitude” side quest in Monster Hunter Rise, you are required to deliver 2 Pricey Shoots. But, without direction, it may be too much of a grind trying to find the item. To find the first Pricey Shoots or possibility both. Go behind the camp in Ruins map and you should find a Great Wirebug, collect it and use the Wirebug to climb the cliff. Land on the ledge straight above and you should find the Pricey Shoots among the bamboo. Although the drop is not a 100%, you can return to this area often to check if the shoots have spawned. Sometimes if you are lucky, you may find both the Pricey Shoots in this area.
For the second location, head between the Area 3 and 4 on the Ruins map and locate some bamboos growing near the rocks, you can find the item there. In this area, there are a lot of bamboo patches and a few of them have the Pricey Shoots. So, search this area and you should find at least the required 2 for the quest.
There are other places in Area 7 and 8 where you can find the Pricey Shoots. These items are not difficult to find, just look around the bamboo patches on the map. If you have found a few areas where they spawn, just return as they respawn.
