Basil is one of the many items that you can find and collect in Disney Dreamlight Valley. As a life simulation game, there are a lot of surprises for the players who explore the world in search of treasure. Basil is definitely an important ingredient that is used for cooking, and you will be able to get it if you know how to. If you’re not sure, that’s what this guide is for.

Since this is a life-simulation game to some extent, you will be able to cook in the cooking mechanism of the game. It is quite interesting as there are a lot of different ingredients you can collect to make dishes. However, this is a feature that you need to unlock first, by visiting Mickey’s house. Once you have done so, you will be able to cook any dish you have unlocked, if you have the ingredients for it.

One of the ingredients that you might need is Basil, and it’s actually one of the easiest plants to find. It grows in the Peaceful Meadow, and almost looks like a regular plant. However, it is slightly greener than the regular type that you find in the main housing area.

Get close to the plant and press E in order to pick it up. The seed plot will disappear when you pick up the Basil, however these will spawn quite frequently so you don’t need to worry. Just keep coming back to the Meadow in order to get some more Basil.
