Call of Duty is one of the most popular games since its first installment launched in 2003. Call of Duty: Warzone was released in 2020, and it was a part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Like every other Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Warzone has a lot of popular modes, and Plunder Mode was one of the best among them. The reason behind the popularity is that players can respawn anywhere in Plunder mode and level up their weapons quickly. But, unfortunately, plunder mode was not a constant mode in the game, and the developers sometimes withdrew the Plunder mode. Also, it used to be back within a week.
In Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6, developers have withdrawn the Plunder mode completely, which is a shocking surprise for the players. However, if you are a fan of Plunder mode, you have good news. Plunder mode is coming back with the release of the new map- Warzone Pacific Caldera. On their official Page, Raven Software has confirmed the news that Plunder mode is coming back- “It wouldn’t be Warzone without there being big money on the line, with a Plunder experience built for the Caldera lining up on day one including all Vehicles, Weapons, Operators, Killstreaks, new Contracts and more from every timeline!”
In Plunder mode, players need the cash, not the kills, and the player with maximum money will win the game. Therefore, there is fear of being killed in this mode, and making money is also easy. Though Plunder Mode is very popular and many players prefer Plunder mode over the traditional mode, this mode will not be there all the time. Sooner or later, it will again be withdrawn by the developers, and players have to continue with the traditional playing mode of the game.
Also, we don’t yet know if the Plunder mode will be there from the beginning or not. To know about it, players have to check the playlist minutely. But it’ll be there for sure, as Raven Software has already confirmed it.
That’s all we know about the return of Plunder Mode in COD. If we get further information, we’ll update this article.
