Strands will be classified under Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans. All three of them will be proficient in wielding the Strand ability. Let’s take a deeper look at each subclass.
Warlock Broodweaver Overview and Abilities in Destiny 2 Lightfall
Broodweaver’s Threadling ability can project ranged energy creatures that will follow the target and explode. Made out of Strand matter, these beings can follow their Guardian when not in use.
Their Super is Needlestorm, which transforms into needles that will stick onto enemies and explode, which will also help create a new army of Threadlings. Their melee is not too exciting, as Arcane Needle can only release 3 projectiles to track targets. Below are all the aspects of the Broodweaver.
- Weaver’s Call – Creates 3 Threadling eggs that will hatch after hitting a surface, resulting in Treadlings targeting enemies. Any leftover perched Threadling eggs will multiply, and unused Threadlings will follow the Guardian until they are used.
- Mindspun Invocation – Under this, you will get additional and improved aspects for the following
- Grapple: Melee move that weaves three Treadling eggs from the target
- Threading Grenade: Generates perched Threadlings set
- Shackle Grenade: Creates a suspending detonation on every successful kill.
Hunter Threadrunner Overview and Abilities in Destiny 2 Lightfall
Known as a master manipulator, the Threadrunner can grasp any thread nearby and weave new threads to dart through the air. They might know how to manipulate the environment and use it as a weapon. Their super is Silkstrike, which can help them grapple and shoot rope darts at enemies below. It comes in two variants, light and heavy, and each has a different purpose. Their melee, Threaded Spike, bounces the rope dart between enemies and also grants melee energy for the Hunter after each hit. Below are all the Threadrunner’s aspects.
- Ensnaring Slam – Slams downwards into the ground when in the air
- Widow’s Silk – Grants an additional grenade charge.
Titan Berserker Overview And Abilities in Destiny 2 Lightfall
The Berserker’s melee is top of the class, and any enemy damaged by the Berserker will deal less damage overall. Their Bladefury Super lets them have dual-wielding fist blades, and this too has a light and heavy variant. Their Frenzied Blade melee will dash and slash enemies with the new Strand arm blades, but can only hold up to three charges. This can be chained to deal deadly damage. - Into the Fray -If successfully destroyed a Tangle, Woven Mail will be embedded into all party members. Reduces all damage taken and increases melee energy regeneration.
- Drengr’s Lash: Creates a powerful blast that will leave a powerful ripple in reality and suspend all enemies caught in the shockwave.
