The much-awaited Season 1 of Warzone Pacific that integrates the Battle Royale with the current CoD multiplayer Vanguard has launched, but the game is a mess for players on PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players are reporting all kinds of graphical issues, predominately the textures of the game glitching. Other issues include the Warzone Pacific crashing when users launch the game. While the permanent solution has to come from the devs users on Reddit have suggested some fixes that we will explore in the article. Keep reading to know more about the Warzone Pacific texture and resolution issues on PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Warzone Pacific Crashing, Texture and Resolution Issues
Warzone is currently going through a range of problems that makes the game unplayable. With the in-game problem like texture not loading or glitching and the resolution problem, some players are completely unable to launch the game after the Pacific update. Warzone Pacific crashes on launch.
The issue is so widespread that a majority of players are abandoning the game for the Halo Infinite multiplayer.
The good news for Warzone fans is that Raven is aware of the issue and has acknowledged it on their Trello board. They said, the issue is under investigation and a patch would be rolled soon.
Disable On-Demand Texture Streaming
On-demand texture streaming is great to reduce the size of the game, but a lot of Warzone crashing problems may be caused by it as we saw during the launch of Vanguard. As such, there is a chance that disabling the on-demand texture streaming can fix the Warzone texture glitch on PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. To disable the on-demand texture streaming in Warzone, go to Settings > Graphics tab > at the bottom you will find the option to disable.
If disabling the on-demand texture streaming did not work for you; unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do at this time. The devs are working on resolving the issue, so waiting for a patch is your only option.
