Vehicle Combat in Modern Warfare 2
Warzone’s current vehicles appear to be primitive in comparison to Modern Warfare 2, where players will be able to lean out windows and shoot their guns as well as climb onto the top. Furthermore, if the driver has a weapon, they will be able to lean out the window.
Not only has the way players interact with vehicles altered, but the vehicles themselves have been substantially revamped. Currently, vehicle damage is indicated by smoke pouring from the hood. Vehicles will now sustain real-time damage, with doors, hoods, and bumpers being knocked off, and tyres may be blown out.
The vehicles will not just vanish after being blown up. Players may repair the damaged automobiles, including the tyres. Infinity Ward is also quite enthused about how water interacts in Modern Warfare 2, and they’ve changed the way vehicles respond to it. Vehicles will no longer explode when they contact water. Instead, they will float for a brief period of time before sinking.
In this creator session, the new vehicle mechanics were demonstrated, and the campaign sends players to Mexico, where they fight in a vast vehicle convoy. Players can take control of any vehicle in this level, bouncing between and commandeering moving autos.
In Modern Warfare 2, it was all about vehicle combat. For more on Modern Warfare 2, see how the AI is the most realistic and lethal ever.
