Raven has decided to disable the [Top Secret] Contract in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific for an indefinite period.
Call of Duty hasn’t been free of the wrath of bugs, errors, and game glitches. The popular FPS gaming franchise has had its ups and downs since its launch earlier this year, with Raven Software scrambling to help fix the errors so the game would run smooth. Recently, they have disabled one particular contract in Warzone, titled [Top Secret].
This contract falls under the Hidden Contracts feature, which players can undertake for “high-risk, higher-reward”. The rewards can include anything from cash, UAV kills, and more XP.
Since the details of the contract are hidden, players can get any of the following if they wish to undertake it.
A top-secret contract is unknown until someone takes it over and may involve any of the following tasks:
- Bounty – Eliminate target player.
- Scavenger – Open any three marked boxes.
- Recon – capture the highlighted target.
- Stocks and Supply – Navigate to the Buy Station that is assigned within the set time frame.
- Most Wanted – Survive while marked as a high-value target for all players on the map.
Players have noticed that after accepting and completing the tasks, they would get a high amount of reward than what was intended. This was exploited by players in the game, hence the call to disable it.
Players were not happy with the change and took out their displeasure on social media.
Raven has not yet announced if they will implement something new in its wake, or for how long it would be disabled. There is also no news of what happens to the excess rewards that players have already got. All we do know now is that it is going to be an uphill battle for players if they want to upgrade weapons and equipment quickly.
