How to get Good and Bad Endings in Sons of the Forest? Explained
Sons of the Forest is the sequel to The Forest and received immense popularity during its early access. Though it is not even a complete game, it still has endings and not a single ending. The game has two endings. Like every time, one is the good ending, and the other is the bad one.
If you are curious about the good and the bad endings and how to trigger them, let me tell you the process of getting these endings are similar, only you have to make a choice at the end. As you progress, the game will take you to the other end of the island, where you’ll enter a cave. Progress through the cave, and eventually, you’ll enter a gold room, and as soon as you enter, the door will be closed. A cutscene triggers where you can see the backside of the room opens up, and you’ll see a view of a city. But you can’t go there. After that, the door of the room opens, and the game will take you to the location where a helicopter comes to save you. This is the point where you can choose between the good and the bad ending.
Bad Ending
Once you go near the Helicopter, you’ll see an ‘E’ prompt. Look back, and you’ll see an orange icon, as shown in the below image.
If you choose to go to the icon, you’ll go there and pick your inventory; the time shifts to night, and the NPCs will leave you on the island alone. They will fly back. You can’t call it a bad ending, as you are left alone on the island, but you can continue your journey.
Good Ending
Once you go near the Helicopter, press the ‘E’ button, and the NPCs will agree to take you back with them. Next, all four people will board the Helicopter and leave the island.
