Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is finally here as the latest RPGs in the Pokemon franchise. As the first installments of the ninth generation of Pokemon games, they have a long line of predecessors to stand up against. Players will be able to explore the new areas of the island Paldea on their Nintendo Switch. In this guide, we will take you through what you can do in terms of post game content after beating the game Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
What Endgame Content Does Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Have?
If you’re looking for some heavy post-game content in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet after completing the main story, you might feel disappointed as it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot on offer. However, when you look at the list of things you can do as a whole, the endgame content seems worth grinding for.

In previous games, you had the Battle Tower, but it won’t be returning in this installment. However, there’s a host of other endgame content which are all listed below.
- Use Koraidon or Miraidon in Battle – The Pokemon that have helped you climb all this time can also be used in battle. Simply select one of them from the menu and you can add it to your party as long as there is an empty slot.
- Catch a Second Legendary Pokemon – You can get another Koraidon or Miraidon if you make your way to the back of the building where you fought the last battle in Area Zero.
- Collect Paradox Pokemon – You will be able to find Paradox Pokemon in the Area Zero in the Great Crater of Paldea once you have completed the game, and can even trade with other players to complete your collection of them.
- Catch the Four Treasures of Ruin – Ting-Lu, Chien-Pao, Wo-Chien and Chi-Yu are the four treasures that you can collect by pulling out stakes from different locations on the map, which will erect a Treasure of Ruin in its place.
- Gym Leader Rematches – You can beat all the Gym Leaders to be eligible for the Academy Ace Tournament.
- Win the Academy Ace Tournament – Once you are participating in the Academy Ace tournament, you can battle the faculty of the school and students and prove your skills.
- Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles – After completing the Academy Ace Tournament, you can fight the Black Crystal Tera Raids to get rare items such as Ability Patches and other rewards. You will also be able to get the Unrivaled Charizard.
Check your Pokemon’s IVs with the Judge Function – You can unlock the Judge Function by talking to one of the receptionists at the Pokemon Center. This will allow you to see your Pokemon’s Individual Values.
