Persona 3 remake is in development, confirms a leaker who previously claimed Atlus was working on it. After the release of Persona 5 Royal in 2019, it has been a mystery what will happen next for the Persona brand. Atlus delayed releasing the RPG until 2022 on PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox.
This remake is not yet known when or if it will be released. Atlus revealed its future goals as part of its 2023 plans. However, Atlus also stated that several “unreleased new titles” are in development, although no specific names or hints have been provided. The Persona 3 Portable aka P3P will soon be available on additional platforms. On January 19, Persona 3 will be released on new consoles and PC, along with Persona 4: Golden. These games will be re-released with improvements including high-resolution visuals, quick save, and the option of choosing a difficulty setting right from the start. Additionally, both remasters will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers at launch.

During the Persona 25th Anniversary in June 2022, it was announced that Persona 3 Portable would be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, the Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows via Steam and the Microsoft Store. A remaster will soon be released on January 19th, 2023.
One person brought up a long-dormant rumour regarding a remake of Persona 3, wondering whether the remake was still happening since Atlus is about to rerelease Persona 3 Portable soon. This remake has also received mixed reviews from fans on the Reddit community. Some people are wondering why they would bother releasing P3P on every platform this month if this were true.
At the moment, there is no official statement regarding the Persona 3 remake. However, the Persona 3 remaster will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on January 19.
