Blizzard has now brought on the new SMS Protect for all Battle.net accounts, so if you haven’t yet connected your account to a phone number, you should do so now. This acts as a two-step verification to prevent hackers and cheaters from gaining access to your account. But what happens if you wish to use the same phone number on another account? So you have another account that you wish to connect to your phone number, but you can only assign one number per account. Here we will see how to use the same phone number for a different Battle.net account in Overwatch 2.

There is no transfer method where you can use the same phone number for multiple accounts, but you can remove the phone number from the existing account that is linked to Battle.net, then log into the other account and use the phone number there. To do this, just follow the steps below.
- Log into your Battle.net account with the phone number applied
- Look at the tab on the left and select the account details option
- Scroll down to the phone number section, you will notice a Remove option next to it
- Click on Remove
- Now, log out of Battle.net and log into the account you wish to use
- Head into the account section and input the phone number to activate it.
And with that, you can now use your new account with the SMS Protect feature in place. Whenever you wish to log back into your previous account, you have to repeat the above steps to enable this feature.
