A role-playing video game, One Piece Odyssey, is planned to be released by Bandai Namco Entertainment and developed by ILCA on January 13, 2023, and will be available to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S users.
The playable characters are equipped with specific skills that correspond to their powers and help them navigate, collect goods, and solve puzzles. After engaging an adversary in combat, the game switches to the battle screen, where the characters’ actions are controlled via menu commands. “Scramble Area Conflicts” divide battles into many different zones, which is the basis for the fighting system.

Combat Guide One Piece Odyssey
As a result of this combat system, players will be able to carefully select their skills and utilize their characters to their full potential. Here’s all about the combat system:
Character Skills
Characters can use specific skills as their actions. These skills can have specific after-effects or statuses that last for many turns and cause more damage than basic attacks. As a result of the character’s condition, they will have a total number of Technique Points (TP) to use in each encounter. When using more than one skill during an Encounter, players must choose which to use and when. A character’s current TP can be found at the top right of their Skill menu. Once their TP has been depleted, they can no longer perform any skill attacks until their TP is restored.
Battle Turn
In the upper right corner of your screen, you can see how many battles turns you have left and when you can perform again. With each turn, you and your opponent have one action to complete. The difference between an attack and a skill is that an attack deals basic damage and does not have any special effects, while a skill may have special effects depending on the character. Players can also use items to improve their health, damage, or other metrics.
Battle Types
There are three types of battles that your characters can engage in: speed, power, and technique. Each type will have an advantage or disadvantage when it is paired against another. As shown by the pink fist, your strength character has an edge against speed enemies. The sword, on the other hand, represents your technical character, who may have a disadvantage against fast enemies. In order to deal maximum damage to your adversaries, it is crucial to use characters with advantages.
Accessories and Upgrades
In addition to giving your character a boost and improving their damage, you can equip them with powerful weapons, clothing, and accessories.
Camping, Crafting, Cooking
It is always possible to rely on your equipment when changing characters and employing your best skills isn’t enough to win a fight. In the event that all else fails, Sanji’s cooking can provide remarkably strong healing, increasing the health of the entire party or reviving wounded companions. You may also create trick balls with Usopp that can impair attack, defend, or shock an opponent.
