New World is a thrilling, adventurous massively multiplayer role-playing game filled with opportunities and dangers where you will create a new destiny on the magical island of Aeternum. It is developed by Amazon Games Orange Country and released by Amazon games on 28th September 2021.
The games’ story revolves around the mid-seventeenth century, where the players have to form a group of Five people and join one of the three factions named- Marauders, Syndicate, or Covenant. To survive, they need to use node resources, craft items, quest, explore the world, establish control over the settlement, fight with monsters.

New World- Where to Find Water Motes
The trickiest one among them is the Water Motes. Though trickiest but not impossible. To get Water Motes, first search for the plant named Rivercrest. You will get it from water because it floats on water and you can find it at the end of the rivers or other water sources. Once you get it, use your sickle to harvest it, and you’ll get Water Motes from that blue flora. It is necessary to use the sickle to harvest Rivercrest and to use the sickle, you have to level up your harvesting to 30. You can also get Water Motes from harvesting Springstone and Floating Spinefish
These motes are not much needed at the beginning of the game, and also, to collect them, you have to level up your gathering abilities. The alchemy materials can be used for making armors, cutting stones, and furnishing.
New World- Where to Find Fire Motes
You can get Fire Motes by harvesting the Dragon Glory flower, which is very commonly found all over the map. There is no specific place where you can find them but if you want to start finding them, start from the Windsward region.
You need a sickle to harvest this flower, and to get a sickle, you need to level up to 30. After harvesting the Dragon Glory flower, you should be aware that what you get will not be the Fire Motes but Fire Essence. Fire Essence is just an upgraded version of Fire Mote.
Fire Motes can also be found by harvesting Scorchstone and Salamander snails.
New World- Where to Find Air Motes
You can get Air Motes from Shockbulbs, Shockspires, and Lightning Beetles. To gather Shockspires, you have to level yourself up to level 60. You can get them through mining. It will provide you both Air Motes and Shocking Lodestone. Though the lower region on the south end of the map has some Shockpire, most spawns at the north end.
You can use Air Motes to craft Elemental Heart, Air Wisp, and other things.
New World- Where to Find Earth Motes
You can get Earth Motes from Earthspine, Earthcrag, and Earthshell Turtles. Earthcrags can be gathered through mining at level 50. It provides both Earth Motes and Loamy Lodestone. Earthspine can be harvested at level 30. You can found Earthcrag in Edengrove, Mourningdale, Restless shore, and Great Cleave.
Earth Motes can be used in crafting Weak Oakflesh Bal, Earth Wisp, Stone Cairn, and many more.
New World- Where to Find Life Motes
Lifebloom, Lifejewel, and Lifemoth are the elements that give you Life Motes. Lifeblooms can be gathered at level 30, but to gather Lifejewel, you have to reach level 50. Lifejewel provides Life Motes along with Gleaming Lodestone. You can find Lifejewels in the Great Cleave and Mourningdale.
Life Motes can be used to craft stonecutting and Alchemic recipes. Life Essence can be used to prepare legendary magical weapons like Windsinger.

Brightroot, Brightsmoth, and Brightcrag will provide you Death Motes. Brightcrag can be found through mining at level 50, whereas you can harvest Brightroot at level 30. Brightcrag provides you with Death Motes along with Putrid Lodestone. If you want to search for Brightcrag, start with Great Cleave, Weave’s Fen, and Restless Shore.
You can use Death Motes in Slashing gems that can be fitted on a player’s gear.
