Also, this will be the first time Activision will be setting the campaign of any Call of Duty game as a pre-order benefit. The publishers are known to lock the campaign down strictly to release dates with every title in this long-running series.

Overall, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 seems worth waiting for. The game comes out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC on October 28, 2022.
