The Genshin Impact official Twitter recently announced and revealed the splash arts of two new upcoming characters in Version 3.2. Yes- we finally have confirmation on Nahida- the Dendro Archon and Layla as playable characters in Version 3.2. Their splash arts look phenomenal and players are already excited to pull for them in the next patch.
Nahida and Layla’s Announcement in Genshin Impact
Their splash arts come as a surprise to many as we weren’t expecting these so early- even before Version 3.1’s official release. These have blessed the feeds of players even before their models and designs could be leaked by leakers- and maybe that is the strategy Hoyoverse is going with at this point. Their full-length splash arts are also posted below.
Nahida
Nahida is the Dendro Archon and her title is the Lesser Lord Kusanali. She’s leaked to be a catalyst user and uses the child model as a design base for her character. Her constellation is called Sapientia Oromasdis. She will likely be a meta-defining reaction support in the game considering Dendro scales off of EM and she’s the Dendro Archon.
Layla
Layla is a Cryo character though we still don’t know her rarity of weapon type. She’s likely a 4-star according to some leaks but we’ll still have to wait for official confirmation. Her design matches the leaked descriptions of her character which mention a tired look with drooping eyes. Her title describes her as “Half-Awake, Half-Asleep, All Incredulous” and her constellation is called Luscinia.
Genshin Impact’s last new playable Cryo character was Shenhe who came out ages ago so it’s a breath of fresh air to finally have another new Cryo unit in the game. She’s also one we haven’t yet met in the story of Genshin Impact so she is likely to appear soon either in Version 3.1 or Version 3.2 cutscenes.
With Nahida and Layla’s designs now confirmed, players are likely to put in more effort in Version 3.1 to gather up as many Primogems as they can for pulling these characters. We wish good luck to all players for their grind and their pulls.
