Nahida- the Dendro Archon and Layla are already confirmed to be dropping as playable characters in Version 3.2 of Genshin Impact. A majority of the players will be pulling for Nahida as she is definitely going to be a part of the meta as all the other playable Archon characters. Genshin Impact Version 3.1 finally released the Desert region of Sumeru along with two new weekly bosses.

Ascension Materials for Nahida and Layla in Genshin Impact 3.2
The following are the ascension materials for the two new upcoming characters in Genshin Impact 3.2. Use these to level them up and their talents to get them up to functional playable units in your teams.
Nahida
The Dendro Archon or Lesser Lord Kusanali- Nahida will require boss materials from the upcoming Dendro Hypostasis boss in Version 3.2 of Genshin Impact. Alongwith these, Nahida will also require Kalpatala Lotus and Fungal Spores for her character and talent level-up. Her talent materials are Teachings of Ingenuity which can be farmed on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Layla
We still don’t know if Layla is a 4-star or 5-star character but her kit suggests she’s a 4-star unit. As for her ascension materials, you’ll need to beat the Aeonblight Drake for its drops and you’ll need to farm the Nilotpala Lotus. Players will also need to beat tons of Samachurls for their Divining Scrolls which Layla can use. Her talent books are the Teachings of Ingenuity which means there could be a shortage of this variant of talent books unles you’ve been farming them diligently since Sumeru opened its roots.
Both Nahida and Layla will likely use the upcoming Scaramouche weekly boss for talent ascension drops. Players can pre-farm the talent books and other materials like the Fungal Spores and the Divining Scrolls before Version 3.2 officially drops. Players can also collect their respective flowers while they’re at it to be fully prepared for these characters when they drop. As for boss materials, players can only fight and farm the Aeonblight Drake for now since the Dendro Hypostasis drops in the next update.
