Afflicted Shell is one of those end-game materials that players need to collect to craft some excellent and high-tier equipment and gear.
This guide will help you know how you can collect Afflicted Shell in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
Afflicted Shell Location in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak- Where to Get?
Afflicted Shell is a challenging item to acquire, and the process is pretty tricky. To begin with the process, first players need to reach Master Rank 30 and defeat Allmother Narwa. It’ll unlock the Three-Star Anomaly Quests, where players will find the Afflicted version of the known enemies- Afflicted Blood Orange Bishaten, Afflicted Somnacanth, Afflicted Shogun Ceanataur, and Afflicted Jyuratodus.
Upon encountering these enemies, start breaking as many parts of them as possible. Every broken part of these Afflicted enemies has a 20% chance of giving you, Afflicted Shell. You may not fight all the Afflicted monsters, but try to fight at least one. Moreover, once you reach the Anomaly Quests, there is no easy way to fight the enemies; all of them are challenging. However, Afflicted Blood Orange Bishaten and Afflicted Somnacanth are a little predictable. So, if you are playing alone, go for these two enemies to get Afflicted Shell. But we suggest not playing alone in the end-game phase; bring at least one or two teammates with you. In this phase, the enemies are much more challenging to deal with, so you need some help to defeat them. Additionally, if you complete the quest, you’ll get two or three more Afflicted Shells as a bonus reward.
That’s all you need to know about acquiring Afflicted Shell in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. If you are looking for a guide to get some help, go through this guide to get the required information.
