Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Espinas Guide- How to Defeat?
Espinas is a troublesome enemy who keeps moving all the time during the fight. Therefore, you also have to move accordingly, either to avoid Espinas or to attack him. This Flying Wyvern is a tough enemy as its fireball attacks inflict Poison on you; means, if the fireball of Espinas hits you, you’ll receive both Fire and Poison ailments. It is a deadly combination for the players. Therefore, be careful of the fireballs of Espinas. Another attacking method that Espinas frequently uses is running toward the player and charging three times at you. Try to avoid it; otherwise, you’ll be smashed. Occasionally, this Wyvern throws poison at the players at a short distance and flies away quickly.
Espinas is specifically weak to Ice, Slash, and Blast damages. So, the best weapons you can use are the Amber Snapfrost+, Mighty Soulromancer, Fire And Ice, and Frostmoon Paleblade+. The best parts to hit Espinas are the Legs, Abdomen and Head. Don’t try to hit other body parts or use Ailments like Sleep, Poison, or Paralysis. While attacking Espinas, don’t forget about defending yourself. Besides dodging and avoiding its attacks, use Rathian X armor for defense.
That’s all you need to know about defeating Espinas in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Though this is a challenging enemy, you’ll find more difficult enemies in this game. While your primary target is to attack Espinas, don’t forget to watch out for its moves and attacks to avoid getting damaged. Upon defeat, Espinas will droop Espinas Lash, Espinas Cortex, Espinas Mantle, Espinas Shard, Espinas Hardhorn, Espinas Surspike, and Espinas Toxic Blood.
