With the goal of getting better weapons and armor in Monster Hunter Rise, you will eventually find yourself in need of the Almudron Fin+. But, this item is a rarer drop than most you would collected so far in MH Rise. To farm the item is even harder. But, you can increase your chances if you know how. As you would have guessed, you can get the Almudron Fin+ from the Almudron monster found in a number of maps such as the Shrine Ruins, Flooded Forest, and Sandy Plains. But, taking down the monster won’t get you the item. Here are some things you should know before you go in search of the item in MHR.
How to get Almudron Fin+ in Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise)
The Almudron Fin+ is a high-rank item and will only drop on the High Rank hunts. To get to the High Rank, you need to unlock the six-star quests and then complete three special licensing quests. Once that’s done, you will have access to High Rank hunts and can go on the above-mentioned maps in search of the Almudron Fin+.
Taking down the monster virtually has no chance of the item to drop, the same goes for head break, target reward, and carve. Breaking the tail of the monster on the other hand has an 80% chance of dropping the Almudron. To break the tail, we suggest that you have a reliable silver weapon.
As the Almudron is a water monster, weapons using water will not be effective. Your first choice should be elemental weapons using Fire. The second choice would be Ice and so on.
With these tips, head out in search of the monster and you should be able to get the Almudron Fin+ without much grinding.
