Modern Warfare 2 is on the verge of release. Unlike the past titles, this year’s campaign releases eight days early access for players who preordered the game. COD tiles are the most awaited games of the year, and with a few exceptions, Activision has delivered a new title every year. There has been some news about the preload and the time of the campaign’s release, but we now have official word.
The game will be available for preloading on all platforms on October 19 at 10 AM PT. The early access for the campaign will go live at the same time the next day, October 19, at 10 AM PT.
To play the game and take part in the early access, you need to preorder the game before its launch on the 28th of Oct. Players who preorder the Vault Edition will get additional rewards such as Red Team 141 Operator Pack, FJX Cinder Weapon Vault, Season 01 Battle Pass, and 50 Tier Skips when the game comes out.
The devs have also revealed the specs for the game. Here is what is required to play the game on PC.
The game requires a storage space of 72Gbs and a minimum GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470. To run the game at Ultra 4K, you require at least RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT. 8 GB of RAM is required as minimum specification, and 16 GBS will suffice to run the game at max settings. In terms of CPU, the game is more demanding when running at max settings. You require an i9-9900K or AMD Ryzen 9 3900X.
We are very excited about the game and can’t wait for it to launch in a few days. The game releases on PC via Steam and B.Net, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
