Genshin Impact Version 3.1 brought us the Weinlesefest Festival along with Mika who’s a part of Eula’s Reconnaisance Team. Mika was introduced to us as a rather timid but capable young man with a knack for cartography. In this article, we’ll take a look at his leaked constellations and see if he’s really timid.
Mika’s Constellations in Genshin Impact 3.5
Most of Mika’s constellations are support oriented and aim to either increase his healing or energy recharge. Unlike most characters, Mika’s C2 isn’t very impressive- but it certainly is a quality of life improvement. His C4 and C6 however look really strong.
C1. Contingency Factor
The Soulwind state of Starfrost Swirl can decrease the healing interval between instances caused by Skyfeather Song’s Eagleplume state. This decrease percentage is equal to the ATK SPD increase provided by Soulwind.
C2. Chaperone’s Ingress
When Starfrost Swirl’s Flowfrost Arrow first hits an opponent, or its Rimestar Flare hits opponents, 1 Detector stack from Passive Talent “Rapid-Fire Suppression” will be generated.
You must have unlocked the Passive Talent “Rapid-Fire Suppression” first.
C3. Reconnaissance Veteran
Increases the Level of Skyfeather Song by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
C4. Sunfrost Encomium
When Mika’s own Skyfeather Song’s Eagleplume state heal other party members, this will restore 3 Energy to Mika. This form of Energy restoration can occur 5 times during the Eagleplume state created by 1 use of Skyfeather Song.
C5. Signal Arrow
Increases the Level of Starfrost Swirl by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
C6. Companion’s Counsel
The maximum number of Detector stacks that Starfrost Swirl’s Soulwind can gain is increased by 1. You need to have unlocked the Passive Talent “Rapid-Fire Suppression” first.
Additionally, characters affected by Soulwind will deal 60% more Physical CRIT DMG.
Overall Thoughts
Mika’s C2 is a quality of life improvement and seems like a cheapshot compared to most other C2s in the game. His C4 however greatly improves his ER as he can generate a total of about 15 Energy particles for himself while other party members heal themselves. His C6 on the other hand is a pure Physical DMG support buff as he can give a total of about 100% Physical DMG bonus to his teammates with this constellation.
For those who love playing Eula, and love nuking enemies with her burst, they will really love a C6 Mika- but is it worth it? We think not. At least not right now in the current meta which is very reaction and elemental damage heavy in all aspects. Physical DMG itself has become dated so unless it’s viable again- maybe in a nation like Natlan, both Eula and Mika will have to be benched from most teams.
