Microsoft’s Build Developer Conference will be conducted fully online in 2021, May 25 to 27. The event allows developers and students from around the world to share their experiences regarding Microsoft products and services.
In this conference, other Microsoft products such as Xbox, IoT, Power Platform, and Azure will also be at the forefront.
Microsoft also held a March_ID@Xbox event where they revealed dozens of games lately in partnership with Twitch. Microsoft is not going to slow down, according to a new report from a leading MS expert Mary Jo Foley at ZDNet.
According to VGC, a journalist for ZDNet has affirmed that “the gaming event is expected in the coming weeks”. Allegedly, Xbox is going to hold a ‘What’s Next for Gaming’ event this month to correspond with Microsoft’s Build conference in May this year.
Since this event will be one of the parts of the celebration around Microsoft Build, we would not see any new gaming announcements but yes, we can expect new technologies and features what MS is working on. Also, we could see some of the glimpses of upcoming versions of the Xbox Toolkit.
Director of Xbox program management, Jason Ronald, also mentioned last month at The Iron Lords Podcast that – “Not every game releasing this year has been announced yet”.
The director also stated that “I’ve seen lots of things internally that I’m very excited for everybody to see later this year”. From these statements, we could expect that there are so many things are happening around Xbox.
In this event, the MS could also disclose some of its plans about getting the instant messaging and voice chat platform that is favored by gamers, Discord.
Now, we are eagerly waiting for this event and we will surely update you on this!
