But is this game autosave feature or do we really need to save it manually? Let’s find out everything in the below guide. Many new players of this game’s franchise have no idea how to save your game and so here we have given a quick guide here in the following.
How to Manually Save Game in Madden 22
First of all, it is important to know that like all other EA’s sports games, Madden NFL 22 also has an auto-save feature, specifically in modes like Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) mode. The game frequently auto-saves and records all your game progress on the EA servers. So, you don’t require saving it manually.
However, if you want to save your game manually, you can do it in the Franchise mode. Here are some simple steps:
1. Press the touchpad on your PS or View button on your Xbox
2. Then select the save slot you wish to record your progress and name it.
3. And then the game will be saved automatically your gameplay from Madden NFL 22’s Franchise Mode.
As we have said that the game has an auto-save feature and you do not require saving it manually in MUT modes especially. However, we recommend saving it manually in case you want to turn off the game for a while. That way, you won’t lose your progress.
That’s everything you need to know about how to save your game manually on Madden 22.

Same thing still!!!!! Just takes you to a rank screen in ps4.
Have you found a fix for this? It happened with me too.
Playing on the Xbox, pressing the View button does not give any options to save game. Is it a glitch, or am I missing something? Thank you.
In Franchise Mode, if you press the View button on Xbox it should show you the save slots.
I’m playing Franchise on xbox one, digital download dynasty edition. When I press the View button it opens a menu for Madden Profile Rank, Objectives, Notifications, EA Trax and Characters. Nothing about saves or save slots.
Michael is correct. View only takes you to Madden Profile achievements, notifications, music options. No save slots.
Same thing happends when your press the touchpad on Ps4 for me.
Make sure you’re playing the franchise in the off line mode. . I figured out at least on PS4, that worked for me. You’ll be able to see save along the bottom of the screen during the franchise. Though, for PS4, mines said press the R3 button to save and worked, not the touch button.
