Like all other sports games, it is important to save your game in Madden 22 as well so you would not lose your progress and achievements. But is this game autosave feature or do we really need to save it manually? Let’s find out everything in the below guide. How to Manually Save Game in Madden 22

First of all, it is important to know that like all other EA’s sports games, Madden NFL 22 also has an auto-save feature, specifically in modes like Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) mode. The game frequently auto-saves and records all your game progress on the EA servers. So, you don’t require saving it manually.

However, if you want to save your game manually, you can do it in the Franchise mode. Here are some simple steps:

1. Press the touchpad on your PS or View button on your Xbox

2. Then select the save slot you wish to record your progress and name it.

3. And then the game will be saved automatically your gameplay from Madden NFL 22’s Franchise Mode.

As we have said that the game has an auto-save feature and you do not require saving it manually in MUT modes especially. However, we recommend saving it manually in case you want to turn off the game for a while. That way, you won’t lose your progress.

  • Playing on the Xbox, pressing the View button does not give any options to save game. Is it a glitch, or am I missing something? Thank you.

      • I’m playing Franchise on xbox one, digital download dynasty edition. When I press the View button it opens a menu for Madden Profile Rank, Objectives, Notifications, EA Trax and Characters. Nothing about saves or save slots.

        • Michael is correct. View only takes you to Madden Profile achievements, notifications, music options. No save slots.

          • Make sure you’re playing the franchise in the off line mode. . I figured out at least on PS4, that worked for me. You’ll be able to see save along the bottom of the screen during the franchise. Though, for PS4, mines said press the R3 button to save and worked, not the touch button.
