You will need resources to help out the townspeople in Sandrock, but you should know where to look for them. Here we will see where to locate Iron Ore in My Time at Sandrock.
You will need Iron Ore to craft Steel Ingots, Chromium Steel Ingots, and Manganese Steel Ingots. These are valuable materials you will require late game. You will first need a Civil Furnace to craft the ingots, and you can get the blueprint from Qi. For now, you will need Iron Ore, and there are a few ways you can stumble upon it in Sandrock. The quickest way is to buy it from the Eufaula Salvage Shop, but it will require money. It is best to get a lot of cash first and then head over to buy the Ore. It costs 16 Gols to get one Iron Ore, and the shop only stacks up to 15 of them, so you will need to find some other way if you wish to farm more Iron.
If you have a lot of time to spare and prefer to save your cash, you can farm for Iron Ore around the Gecko Station Ruins. You will need to complete all the orange-colored missions first before you can access the Ruins.
