Fire Emblem Engage is the latest addition to the Fire Emblem series. The game is a tactical turn-based RPG focused on strategy and resource management. Players can explore the game’s open world, battle and clear dungeons and even adopt animals.
One of the most important things to maintain in Fire Emblem Engage is your resources. Players need to farm them because resources are required for Advanced classes, cooking and for crafting.
The easiest way to farm in Fire Emblem Engage is by using the Auto battle feature. In this guide, you will learn about what is auto battle and how to use it.
How to use Auto-Battle in Fire Emblem Engage?
Auto Battle in Fire Emblem Engage is introduced when a player completes Chapter 1. Auto battles are one of the best ways to farm resources because players can take a break after long game sessions and still be able to farm resources.
Note: If the player is playing the Classic mode of the Fire Emblem Engage, it is not recommended to use Auto-battle unless you are 100% sure because if the character dies in Classic mode they can’t be revived and will not be available for the whole game.
Now where a player can find the Auto battle option, players need to follow these steps:
- Open the battle menu by pressing (+)
- Then you will see the option “Auto-Battle” click on it
- After clicking you will be given 4 options to select from namely- Advance, Charge, Protect and Fallback.
- Choose one of the strategies for the auto-battle and start the battle.
Auto Battle has four options or strategies to choose from before starting the auto-battle. The Four Strategies are as follows:
- Advance- if selected, this strategy is balanced meaning both offence and defence will be managed in an equal manner. AI will try to focus on both aspects of the battle and try to win the battle for you.
- Charge- If selected, this strategy as the name suggests is all about offence and AI will only focus on attacking. This strategy is dangerous because you can get your backline in some weird fights which you don’t wanna take.
- Protect- if selected, this strategy is all about protecting the main protagonist and maintaining defence. This strategy is helpful when your units are all in different locations.
- Fall Back- If selected, this strategy as the name suggests will see your team retreating from the battles. This option is helpful when players wanna avoid fights and just need the items found in the dungeon.
That’s all you need to know about Auto battles in Fire Emblem Engage and how to use it in battle. Again, it is not recommended to use the auto-battle in Classic mode because character death can not be reverted so play at your own risk. The only scenario it is recommended is when players are trying to farm resources and the level of the enemy is significantly lower than players.
