Players are offered the opportunity to upgrade the weapons that they want to use further in order to carry on with the tougher levels. Once you have unlocked a particular weapon, you can upgrade any weapon in Sniper Elite 5 to make it more powerful. There are a couple of categories where you can make these upgrades, which are as follows:

- Rate of Fire
- Control
- Mobility
