Royal Chase Scout Rifle is a legendary elemental void scout rifle that you can unlock but it requires some effort. Gamers can unlock Royal Chase on the free line of the Season Pass at Rank 30.
The 180rpm Precision Frame scout rifle, Royal Chase comes equipped with Dragonfly Perks (precision kills create an elemental damage explosion) which can help in PVE activities. It is a powerful weapon with some good impact of 62 and decent aim assistance of 63. Other stats like range, stability, handling, reload speed, and inventory size float around 50 (although the handling is arguably the best out of any 180rpms).
How to Unlock Royal Chase in Destiny 2 Beyond Light
A weapon eligible for random rolls, Royal Chase can be picked up by any player who has reached Rank 30, with or without the player having paid for the season pass. It was introduced in season 12 and is basically a season pass exclusive reward and has a decent loot pool to choose from.
The version you get from the season pass has a pretty decent PVE God Roll with Arrowhead Brake, Flared Magwell and Auto-Loading Holster as well. The rifle also has a new perk called “thresh” where you can kill combatants with this weapon generating small amounts of super energy, quick draw, and threat detector.
Although a good setup for Royal Chase could be Corkscrew Rifling or Chambered Compensator in the barrel slot and in the mag slot – Flared Magwell (which helps with increased reload speed), or Accurized Round or Appended Mag (which gives you more magazine).
At even higher ranks for example: at 71, if you unlock Royal Chase, it grants a chance to receive this via drops from completing strikes, and at rank 73, the scout rife will drop for you after gambit matches.
The Royal Chase can be obtained from the Rathborn Hunt as well.
The 180rpm scouts might not be there too long in the game and with Royal Chase also belonging to the same genre it might last for a couple of seasons only. As for now, this has to be the only choice at a high level if you prefer to play with 180s and PVE.
