So, the beta has ended and Minecraft Dungeons is in full-swing. The game is the latest RPG title from Mojang with the iconic blocky environment. Taking inspiration from Diablo, Minecraft Dungeons follows a story line where the evil Arch-Illager is conquering the entire world one village at a time and only you are capable of stopping the evil boss. The game has several levels with multiple mini-bosses as obstacles.
As you progress in the game, you will find better loot and powerful abilities called Enchantments. The Enchantments are crucial to progress in the higher levels of the game and ultimately defeat the Arch-Illager. In this guide, we will teach you how to unlock and reclaim Enchantment points in Minecraft Dungeons.
How to Unlock Enchantments in Minecraft Dungeons?
To start off. What are Enchantments? Enchantments are passive abilities that originate from ranged weapon, armor, and melee weapon. Each level in the game gives you a certain amount of enchantment points. As you level up in the game, the number of enchantments increases.
As you explore the dungeons, you can also find weapons with enchantments. When you obtain more powerful gear in the game, you can salvage the old equipment for enactments and enchantment points.
What are Enchantment Points?
Enchantment points help you upgrade and unlock enchantments. You can get enchantment points as you level up. Each level gets you one additional points.
How to Reclaim Enchantment Points in Minecraft Dungeons
Unlike other dungeon games, in Minecraft Dungeons, the character is as powerful as the gear or their level. Most gear in the game can be upgraded with enchantment points. As mentioned earlier, every new level you reach awards with an additional Enchantment point.
The gear with which you start the game is destined to be replaced by more powerful and upgraded weapons. However, the Enchantment points you spent on those weapons that you do not use anymore don’t go to waste. You can salvage it.
To remove the gear from the inventory and get back the points, you need to use the Salvage button. Besides the Enchantment Points, you also get an emerald for salvaging the useless gear. Progressing and leveling up in Minecraft Dungeons will eventually get you enough points to enchant gears without the need to salvage weapons.
However, reclaiming Enchantment points by salvaging gear is the best way to fulfill your needs of additional Enchantment point at you start off with the game.
As you see, there is not a whole lot to reclaim Enchantment Points in Minecraft Dungeons. If you want to salvage any unused gear, go to the inventory and select the item you want to redeem. The information box in the right has a grey button that reads Salvage. Select the item in inventory and click on the button.
