 How to Unlock City of the Deceased Domain in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact released a new patch 3.4 today and with it comes a new area of Sumeru to explore. The Desert of Hadramaveth is the new area added to the Sumeru desert area in 3.4. With the new areas come new domains to unlock. There are 2 new domains to unlock in the Desert of Hadramaveth. The 2 new domains are as follows:

  1. City of Deceased
  2. Fane of Panjvahe

In this guide, you will get to know how to unlock the City of Deceased and what rewards you will get from clearing the domain.

How to unlock the City of Deceased domain in Genshin Impact 3.4

The City of Deceased domain is located in the Desert of Hadramaveth, which was released in the new patch 3.4. You need to follow these steps to get to and unlock the new domain. 

The first thing, you need to do is, teleport to this waypoint as shown in the image below.

From the teleport waypoint, the player needs to fly to the road near the left-hand of the massive ruin guard. And when you land there you find a cave going underground. 

Players need to go inside the cave and will reach the domain. But the domain is locked behind a torch puzzle. Players need to light the 4 torches near the domain to activate the mechanics for unlocking the domain.

The torches are near the domain and not difficult to find. 2 torches are beside the locked domains and the other 2 are opposite to the domain as shown in the image below.

After you light up the torches, all you need to do is interact with the mechanism to unlock the domain. 

The rewards of the City of Deceased domain are as follows:

  • 40 primogems 
  • 5 dendro sigils
  • 3 hero wits
  • 45000 mora 
  • 5 mystic enhancement ore 
  • 2 talent level-up material
