V Rising is becoming increasingly popular as it has sold over 500K units in just three days, in spite of being only an Early Access debut on Steam. Stunlock Studios’ new vampire survival action game has a horde of content in its initial form: plenty of bosses for players to seek out and defeat and items to win. Players also get a castle which they need to look after in the game, where a lot of the developmental actions will take place. This guide will take you through the process of how to repair your castle or stop it from decaying in V Rising.
How to Repair Your Castle in V Rising
When you get the notification of Castle Heart Status: In Decay, you’ll know that it’s time to check up on your castle, which is the heart of it. This is where the central activities of the game take place, and you will need to take immediate action in order for things to get running smoothly again.

You will be constantly visiting this place to craft items and upgrade your gear, among other things. The Castle Heart is built with 30 Blood Essence and 240 Stone when you first establish it, and you will need to return here as well to repair it.
All you need in order to do this is place Blood Essence in specific areas throughout the castle. You will need 250 Blood Essence which need to be placed in slots in the castle and increase the castle’s life by about two and a half hours for every 18 Blood Essence vials. You can open up more slots by upgrading the heart of the castle.
