Rainbow Six Extraction has finally been released. This game has brought a lot of new features for the players. MIA Operator is one of them. However, before knowing how to rescue them, you first need to understand what an MIA Operator is. This guide will help you understand the MIA Operators and how to save them in Rainbow Six Extraction.
What are MIA Operatives and Rescuing Process of MIA Operators in Rainbow Six Extraction
Sometimes, the best operators also fail to complete a mission in shooter games. Rainbow Six Extraction is not an exception. But the only difference is that in other games, the player died; in this game, the Operator becomes MIA or Missing in Action. This is a unique feature.
Once an Operator becomes MIA, you can’t use him in future missions until you rescue him. The saving process is tricky. First, you have to go back to the level he fails. You can see it on the Operator select section or the level select menu. A red icon marks the MIA Operator. Then, you have to restart the mission, and one of the three hot zones becomes the MIA Operator Objective.
To rescue him, you have to look for the Chimera Archaean Tree that has trapped your teammate. Go close to the tree and interact with it. While you are trying to pull the teammate from the branches of that tree, your other teammates should shoot at its several anchor points to make it weak.
The MIA Operator will return to you if you successfully complete the objective without losing anything. But if you fail the mission, he will also return, but he’ll lose 30% of his XP, and his contribution to your REACT milestone will also be lost. This progression loss can be avoided if you can level up your Operator to the advancement level 10.
That’s all you need to know about how to rescue or save an MIA Operator in Rainbow Six Extraction. If you also have an MIA teammate and want to rescue him, check out our guide to get help.
