One question that arises in a lot of RPG is if the player can create a new character from scratch without sacrificing the progress they have made. When you first start the game, you have little idea of the game mechanics or you just come to hate the character you created. In such a case, an option to recreate character is what players want. While most games don’t have this feature, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous does have it. Stick with the post and we will tell you how to recreate your character in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous without starting a new game.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – How to Retrain Character without Starting New Game
To respec or recreate character in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, you need to find the NPC (Hildor) that provides you the ability. You can find the NPC at the Inn in Defender’s Heart. Once you interact with the NPC, you will be able to create a completely new character from scratch without losing your current level, gear, collectibles, and everything else. During your interaction choose “my companions and I need good training” option.
Once you do that you have access to the Retrain Menu and can select the character you want to retrain. For the first time, you can retrain the character for free, but wanting to do it more than once requires you to sacrifice gold.
However, you will only be able to retrain the character at a certain difficulty. Anything above Core or higher difficulty disables the retrain option, but you can enable the “Enable character retrain,” which in turn changes the difficulty to custom.
There may also be a bug with the system and other than the normal difficulty, you may be able to retrain the character on higher difficulty as well. We are not quite sure about it though. Some users are not able to train characters at core difficulty while others can. Maybe a bug.
