How to Recover Stamina in Monster Hunter Rise

Besides the health in Monster Hunter Rise, another key stats to always keep an eye on is the stamina. Certain actions and weapon-use can drain the stamina such as evading and running up a wall. The Stamina bar in Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise) is below the health bar in the top-left corner of the screen. It’s indicated in yellow colour. You should always ensure that the stamina does not deplete faster than it fills. There are various ways to do that. Here is how to recover stamina in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR).

Monster Hunter Rise (MHR) – How to Recover Stamina

Stamina is important in Monster Hunter Rise, especially in a fight because a full stamina will allow you to perform combos and actions multiple time allowing to deal higher damage. With a low stamina, your moves will be limited.

You can also increase the max stamina with which you go into a fight. This can be done by collecting Spiribirds. Your max stamina at the start of a hunt also depends on the type of Petalace on you. The Petalace is a new game mechanics in MHR. It similar to armor and when equipped has an effect. It’s a bracelet that can be used to collect Spiribirds pollens. Certain Endemic Life such as  

As for recovering or maintaining the maximum stamina in Monster Hunter Rise, it can be done via items or consumables. You can boost the stamina by using specific items found in the field or crafted using the crafting Menu. You can also eat food to boost the stamina.

Items that Boost Stamina in Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise offers a number of items with stamina boosting effect that you can find in supply boxes, in the field, or can be crafted. Here are the ones we know of.

Energy Drink – This item in MHR can be used to boost the stamina as well as shake off sleep. It can be crafted using 1 Nitroshroom and 1 Honey or you can find it in the field.

At this time, the Energy Drink is the only known item that boosts the stamina, but if you know of anything else, let us know in the comments.

Endemic Life that Boost Stamina/Neutralize Negative Stamina Status

Golden Spiribugs are Endemic Life that are known to boost the stamina of the hunter. Whereas, if you are affected by the Waterblight status, it reduces the stamina recover rate, you can neutralize it with the use of Nulberry and performing Wiredash repeatedly.   

Eating Food to Restore Stamina in Monster Hunter Rise

Consuming food is one of the best ways to recover stamina in MHR. Some of the best foods for stamina are Rations, Well-done Steak, but just about any food in the game will work to restore some stamina. If you have run out of food during a hunt, you can get meat from Bombadgy by hunting them. Raw meat is no good for restoring stamina, you will require to cook it using the BBQ Spit.

Once you have the meat, sheath your weapon and hold L, select the Spit and place it on the ground. Place the meat on the BBQ Spit and wait for it to be cooked. Ensure that the meat does not get burnt or you will have to start all over again.
