Dragapult is a Dragon/Ghost type Pokémon, so you should have Pokémon that can use Normal, Fairy, Dark, Steel, Ghost, and Dragon-type moves. Dragapult is a physical attacker, so you should use Pokémon that have high defense stats. Dragapult can use Dragon, Ghost, Bug, Fire, and Water-type moves. Some of the moves that Dragapult might use during the Tera Raid can include:
- Dragon Rush
- Dragon Darts
- Dragon Dance
- Tera Blast
- Hex
- Phantom Force
- Draco Meteor
- Sucker Punch
- U-Turn
- Hydro Pump
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast
Dragapult will also have three varying abilities, depending on which Tera Raid you are going for. It can use Clear Body, Infiltrator, or Cursed Body. Cursed Body is a hidden ability, and it will disable the physical moves of the opponent Pokémon if it makes a successful hit on Dragapult. Clear Body will disable any move that aims at lowering Dragapult’s stats. Infiltrator will let Dragapult pass through protective walls and barriers to attack. By keeping all this in mind, you should use a Pokémon build with high defense and strong attacks.
Giving your Pokémon-held items like Booster Energy will help increase its attack stat even further. Or you can also give your Pokémon Leftovers or Shell Bell to improve HP. Moves like Helping Hand, Play Rough, Sword Dance, Charm, or any move that will help increase allies or self’s attack stat while lowering the opponent’s stats will help. Bulk Up, Belly Drum, Curse, Iron Defense, and Harden can also be super effective here. Having a Pokémon that can use Misty Terrain and Aromatic Mist will be helpful while facing Dragapult. As for the Tera type to use, it is best to figure out which Tera Raid you are going to face, then change the Tera type of your Pokémon to counter it.
